Over the past year a small group of your Whitefish Bay neighbors have been working together to present a plan for the creation of a fitting memorial honoring veterans of all wars.  We are pleased to present that plan for the Veterans Memorial at Whitefish Bay Armory Park.

Friends of the Armory Park grew from a grassroots vision into a plan to build and maintain a gathering place to reflect on sacrifices made by area service members and honor local military veterans.

The Veterans Monument and Memorial Gardens are designed as a place of education, a place of healing and hope, a place of peace, serenity and beauty. 

In order to meet our goal of constructing the memorial in time for an official opening in 2007, your contributions are needed now.  The effort requires approximately $125,000 to complete the Memorial Project and to have an endowment fund to maintain the Memorial.  Your tax-deductible donation to Friends of Armory Park will help make this a reality.  We hope to count on you for a generous donation of $100 or more.  Naturally, any amount you can provide is greatly appreciated.
